8/11/2022 - Women of Fantasy Football 2022 w/ Jen Piacenti & Samantha Previte | Week 1

The ladies are taking the stage! That's right! It's our 3rd annual Women of Fantasy Football event! Returning as host is Faith Enes, co-founder of WOFF, and she has a new co-host in 2022! Faith welcomes Kelly Singh, Director of Marketing with TrophySmack, to interview some of the best and brightest ladies in the world of fantasy and professional football! This week's guests -- Jen Piacenti from Sports Illustrated, and Samantha Previte from The Action Network! We're gonna learn about Jen's rise from stage actor/singer to a full-time career in sports journalism, and Samantha's journey from TikTok star with the New York Post to ski instructor in Colorado while working with The Action Network. One of the keys to our annual WOFF event is our fundraising efforts to support women in sports. Every year, we raffle off a series of sports memorabilia and donate the money to organizations that are helping to further the careers and advancement of women in sports. This year, we're partnering with GALvanize, founded by FOX Sports reporter Laura Okmin. We're setting up a scholarship fund with GALvanize that will help pay the way for women to attend the boot camps GALvanize puts on with NFL teams every summer. (For more information about GALvanize, head to https://lauraokmin.com/galvanize/) After our interviews with Jen and Samantha, we're announcing the winners of our first two giveaways -- a signed Joe Montana 49ers jersey and a signed George Kittle 49ers jersey! It's A Movement! Let's celebrate women in sports! Women of Fantasy Football is GALvanizing, and we won't be stopped! ********************** Did you miss out on the first round of WOFF raffles? We have more on the way! As we head into Week 2 of our WOFF shows, we're raffling off a signed Najee Harris Steelers jersey AND a signed Emmitt Smith Cowboys jersey!
