8/11/26 – "A Few of My Favorite Things" – While we were sleeping (to coin a movie title) … While we have been enjoying the American life… going to ballgames, school events, state fairs… having barbeques in our backyard… working and bringing home a paycheck, buying new cars, the latest clothes, getting our haircuts, our manicures…going out to our favorite restaurants… While we were buying new STUFF… and then containers to hold the NEW STUFF… or the OLD stuff… There were sinister things going on.In our public schools our children were being taught that all of our favorite things were evil. That the homes they live in… the ball fields they play on… the parks they enjoy… the hospitals we use… all are on stolen land. AND they are only enjoying the “good life” because of their skin color (if they are white) and because their ancestors had slaves over 100 years ago. When children are young, they are impressionable and they believe what adults tell them, especially schoolteachers.THEN THEY GO TO COLLEGE! And some highfaluting, pompous professor tells them… there is no God. That America is evil… that their parents are dumb. That America has nothing that is its own. No culture… that is stolen as well as the land… not our music, not our pastime. HECK… our mothers probably stole apple pie too!A Big Bunch and a Gob More in the PODCAST: https://csctalkradio.com/podcast/a-few-of-my-favorite-things/
