Colorado Governor Jared Polis issued an executive order regarding low emission and zero emission vehicles. In response to that order the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission has been holding hearings all week regarding the implementation of this executive order. Neither the order or the results of the hearings bode well for Colorado auto dealers or Colorado drivers. Let us also not ignore the fact that these vehicles are not in fact environmentally friendly. PBIs (Politicians, Bureaucrats, and Interested Parties) say they need more money and then they’ll fix, fill in the blank. They are on a mission to talk you into voting to get rid of two key amendments to Colorado’s Constitution, the Gallagher Amendment and TABOR, Colorado’s Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights.
