8/24/19 - Brent Raynes, author and 'Alternate Perceptions' publisher

from Exploring Unexplained Phenomena · host Exploring UnexplainedPhenomena

Brent Raynes is the editor and publisher of the online magazine Alternate Perceptions (subscribe free) and the author of three books including the latest. "John A. Keel: The Man, The Myths, and the Ongoing Mysteries." The late and great Rosemary Ellen Guiley wrote the Foreword to the book, and said, "John A. Keel was a man way ahead of his time. In fact, he probably was born that way. His career in journalism was excellent training for the true destiny of his life: to plumb the mysteries of the unknown and blaze a trail for other researchers to follow. Keel recognized that certain individuals were "wired" differently from others and thus were more likely to encounter the strange beings and entities that exist in a netherworld on this planet." In the 1990's I helped organize a conference on the Unexplained in Lincoln, NE, and we had among our speakers Martin Caidin and John Keel. I'm reading Brent's book this week and remembering fondly that Lincoln conference. http://apmagazine.info/ . https://www.facebook.com/groups/247611328722640/ . https://www.facebook.com/brent.raynes . We start the EUP radio program with Charleen and "Pet Talk" with dogs and cats for adoption from the Capital Humane Society of Lincoln, NE. The second opening segment is "What is Reality?" with Brent Raynes. Perhaps he'll give us a sneak preview of the September issue of Alternate Perceptions Magazine, or some of his interesting stories and accounts he's collected. After a bottom-of-hour break for station ID, we'll come back with Brent Raynes as our main guest about 40 minutes into the broadcast.
