There could be some major changes to student loans. Today, we are expecting President Biden will announce cancellation of up to $10,000 in student loan debt per borrower tied to an income threshold. The plan is designed to offer the forgiveness to individuals who earn less than $125,000 per year. This is the closest the administration has come to hitting the end of the payment freeze extension, with the current pause set to end Aug. 31. We breakdown what we know about the announcement.
