It seems like a rather obvious matter, that we would hope in Jesus. We’ve been talking about that very thing all summer long. And yet it’s worth taking time to reflect on a critical question Jesus asked His disciples – “Who do you say I am?” We’ll consider not only what Peter’s answer was as well as Jesus’ response to Peter, but we’ll consider what that means for the lives we’re called to lead, based on what St. Paul was inspired to write near the end of his letter to the Romans.
