8:46 of Silence

8 minutes and 46 seconds of silence for George Floyd. With helicopters flying over our heads and protests lining our streets, we don’t feel it is appropriate to go on pretending nothing is wrong. Instead of listening to our voices, we encourage you to take the time to listen to the voices of others; the voices standing up against police brutality, systemic oppression, and violent racism in our country. Join us in listening and giving to these causes. We recommend Black Lives Matter, ACLU, and Campaign Zero as resources to get started. We all need to learn to be better people - ourselves included.
