8-9-21: Building a foundation for greatness

What does it take to become truly great at something? It's said 10,000 hours of practice is  how long it takes to become an expert at something. What is so important about that number is the hard work it represents. Many of us want success right away when we start something new but just like with a skyscraper, we have to put a lot of work into the foundation of a new endeavor before we ever see the results we want. So put in the time to build a strong foundation and know that when you start something new it will take time to become that expert and all that comes with it.
