John 4:13-15 • Jesus exposed her need for forgiveness. John 4:16 • Jesus revealed Himself to her. John 4:26 2. The Testimony of the Samaritan Woman • Note: every saved person has a testimony. • Her first desire was to tell others what Jesus had done. John 4:28 • Her testimony was about telling others Who Jesus was. = The Christ. John 4:29 • Her testimony caused others to seek Jesus. John 4:30 • Her past was why they were impressed. • Her true testimony was revealed by Jesus. John 4:36 = she received mercy, grace, compassion, and eternal life. This is the testimony of every believer. 3. The Spiritual Fruit of the Woman's Testimony • Many of the Samaritans believed on Jesus because of her words. John 4:39 • Many more believed because of Jesus' words. John 4:41 • Many now understood Jesus was the Savior of the world. John 4:42 Conclusion: Jesus was glorified. Our testimony should glorify Jesus and point others to Him.
