It captures the first UK newspaper journalists learning the ropes of video journalism in which they had 8 Days to get it right. On Day 8 one of the biggest police forces in England would reopen a murder case for them to report. This film shows some of the angst and feelings of the team and the detectives. 8 Days took the top prize in front of a packed 500 plus audience at the International Video Journalism Awards 2006 (Independent ) in Berlin. David shot on a Sony Z1 and 'telecined' in After Effects. David, who also trained the group, continues to consult for the UK Press Association as a trainer.
