8 From the first hit in the drill core to a classified mineral resource (short English version)

We discuss the path from a first exploration indication to a classified mineral resource. The episode explains how anomalies become mineralisation through patterns from multiple datasets and why drilling is the only real verification. We go through resource categories: inferred, indicated and measured, and how drill density controls confidence. QAQC, traceability and negative drill holes are shown to be just as important as positive ones. The takeaway: exploration is a long process built on discipline, patience and difficult decisions. Conclusions A discovery is confirmed by consistency in data, not a single good result. More drilling increases certainty but must be balanced against cost. Most projects fail because continuity, volume or economics are insufficient.
