8 | People Operations and the Pandemic

In this episode of the Inflection Point, I dive into a people focused conversation with Ashley McKarney. Passionate about people for as long as she can remember, Ashley has been specializing in Human Resources for more than 15 years across a variety of industries, including retail, professional services, commercial real estate, oil & gas, and construction. In 2019, Ashley founded Involvi HR with a goal of working with engaged leaders and business owners to improve their HR practices, provide them with ongoing expert solutions and to support their employees to improve working conditions and organizational culture. Today Involvi HR is a team of 10, all based in Alberta, that supports about 45 clients across all industries. Ashley holds her CPHR and SHRM-SCP designations, similar CPA/CFA, and her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the U of A and did a study abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. When not working, Ashley, her husband and their 4-year-old son love to travel, experience new cultures and make reservations at the newest restaurants! Tzin and Bundok are two of her favorite restaurants in Edmonton and she is yet to find a place as beautiful as Paris.  We hope you enjoyed this episode of The Inflection Point!
