It’s the New Year, it’s 2025, and it’s the eighth installment of the “Messed-Up To Set-Ups” podcast. In this episode, comedian Michael Halcomb talks comedy shop with fellow comedian and New Jersey native, Joe Scrocca. The two discuss their first year in comedy—some of their successes, what they’ve learned, and what’s ahead. This is the first part of a 2-part interview. In the second one, they’ll spend 30-40 minutes pulling back the curtain on the joke-writing process and will actually come up with 15-20 jokes on the spot, too.
