from Entangled Kingdoms Hosted by Jeremie Wade
Hello everyone! I pray you all have a wonderful 🦃Thanksgiving🦃 holiday with your family. Shameless plug: why not mention the podcast and share with them the journey we’ve been taking together? 😉 In this week’s episode on Entangled Kingdoms, we return to chapter 1 in Genesis and look at the literary context of the Bible’s creation account. Keep in mind what we’ve covered already regarding the possible cultural and historical contexts. Once you finish the podcast, I would encourage you check out some of these resources: Podcast * BibleProject’s “God” series - https://bibleproject.com/podcast/theme-god-e1-god-or-gods/ Ancient Near Eastern * The Enuma Elish Creation Myth - https://www.sacred-texts.com/ane/enuma.htm * The Epic of Gilgamesh - https://uruk-warka.dk/Gilgamish/The%20Epic%20of%20Gilgamesh.pdf Get full access to Entangled Kingdoms at www.entangledkingdoms.com/subscribe
