What was meant to be a festive family reunion turned into a gruesome nightmare. As Thanksgiving weekend unfolded, friends and neighbors grew increasingly concerned when the usually reliable couple missed their appointments and calls. The Knoxville police were alerted and arrived at the Guy residence to perform a welfare check.
