#80 - We Have All Become Intolerant of One Another

from Burning Issues · host Charles Burns

In this episode, which is longer than usual, I discuss in depth my views on the fact that the world and each one of us has become more intolerant of each other’s differing opinions than ever before. I originally was going to make this video after the Charlie Kirk assassination; however, then in my local community, the Heaton Park synagogue was attacked by nothing short of a terrorist, and so I felt it was important to air my views. We exist in echo chambers on social media and seem to be irritated by the slightest difference of opinion, rather than opening a debate and allowing ourselves to be challenged and our thoughts, opinions, and positions to be changed or at least amended with new perspectives and information.
