On the eve of Halloween in 1984, Robin was viciously attacked and killed during her shift by William Charles Marshall, a former employee who targeted the restaurant for robbery. Although Marshall was initially arrested, insufficient evidence led to his release, leaving the case unsolved for over twenty years.
