Krishnamurti: Truth, Actuality, and the Limits of Thought Brockwood Park and Gstaad 1975, Conversations with David Bohm 5/12: Attention Implies That There Is No Centre Consciousness, because it is in constant movement, has never found an energy which is not contradictory, which is not produced by desire and thought. Can thought ever see its own movement and the futility of its own movement? Attention implies that there is no centre. Is there a perception, a seeing outside the space which is part of consciousness? There are two human beings, one gets conditioned and the other doesn’t. Why? How has it happened the other doesn’t get conditioned? How does this perception which is beyond attention, beyond awareness, beyond concentration come about? Thought is rather superficial, it’s merely a very small part of the operation of the brain. Can consciousness be completely empty of its content? Order and disorder - The Krishnamurti Collection is an official podcast by Krishnamurti Foundation Trust. Across this wide selection of events, Krishnamurti explores fundamental questions of human existence that touch our daily lives and relationships. Each episode of the podcast features a full-length Krishnamurti recording from the Foundation’s archives, with a new series released every week. Krishnamurti is widely regarded as one of the greatest philosophers and teachers of all time. For seven decades, he spoke to large audiences around the world, as well as with notable individuals and small groups. Krishnamurti stressed that ‘There is hope in humanity, not in society, not in systems, not in organised religious systems, but in you and in me.’ Established by Krishnamurti in 1968, Krishnamurti Foundation Trust is a non-profit charity based at Brockwood Park in the UK, which is also home to The Krishnamurti Centre and Brockwood Park School.
