Hi Welcome to jENI NO PIKA PIKA NIHONGO. Today, I'm going to introduce my favorite anime, fruits basket. It first started airing in 2001, but was remade in 2019 to become more popular. I remember when I was in the second grade of elementary school, I used to look forward to coming home from school and watching Fruits Basket. This story is about a high school girl（高校生の女の子）, Toru Honda, （本田透）who is living alone in a tent in the mountains after her mother died in an accident. However, the place where she pitched her tent is the land of her classmate Yuki Souma(草摩由希), and she ends up staying with the Souma family where Yuki lives. However, there was a secret that those who were born possessed by a monster in the Kusama family would transform into one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac （十二支）if they were hugged by the opposite sex.
