Joe Phelps, a longtime Baptist pastor and co-chair of EmpowerWest in Louisville, Ky., talks with Word&Way Editor & President Brian Kaylor about how he came to understand his white privilege. He also discusses the work of EmpowerWest on urging Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to pay reparations for slavery.
