Dear Parents, We’re going to have a great upcoming week. Below is a short description of what’s coming up and important links and/or announcements: Watch these announcements on video here. Mr. Gray’s Class Podcast Virtual Guys Night Friday March 19 7:00-8:15pm RSVP Here Virtual Book Fair March 15-28 Read-a-Thon is March 22-29- Register Here! Spring Break is March 29- April 2 Make Up Picture Day is April 7 Reader’s Workshop The kids will continue  our unit on Deep Study of Character. Next week we will look at how troubles in stories turn into motifs, which turn into themes. We may also start looking for symbolism in our books. Writer’s Workshop The kids will continue in our new journalism unit. Math Math Answers and Help Here What happened to math class? We will work on the first half of our Area and Surface Area (Geometry Unit). We will work on Area and Surface Area up until spring break, then after spring break we will switch to statistics. History We will start studying our next Ancient Civilization: Greece.The kids will compare and contrast Athens and Sparta and study the wars between Greece and Persia. Science The kids will work with Miss Stevens in science lab. Thank you, Mr. Gray
