Ces mots-valises sont à mille lieux de traduire toute la diversité du monde culinaire sud-asiatique et font référence à des déclinaisons gastronomiques bien éloignées des traditions locales, adaptées à un “palais français”. Quels sont les clichés qui planent autour des cuisines sud-asiatiques ? Comment ces clichés sont-ils liés à l’histoire coloniale et plus largement aux questions raciales ? Dans quelle mesure la méconnaissance de ces cuisines reflète l’invisibilisation des communautés de l’Asie du Sud ?Pour en parler, Rokhaya Diallo et Grace Ly reçoivent Selva alias Jody Danasse, blogueuse et dessinatrice culinaire.
