82. How to Teach Your Kids Valuable Money Lessons by Age Group

This week Susan Beacham, founder and CEO of the multi-platform financial education company Money Savvy Generation tells us it's never too early to start teaching your kids about the concept of money. In fact, these lessons should start right away! Kids are intuitive, just because they're young, doesn't mean they won't understand. Age 6-12 is a window of opportunity to shape good money behavior. It starts with implementing chores, the "gateway to developing a strong work ethic," then, as they get older giving them a conditional allowance, then setting the expectation that they will get a job and work for their own money.
