She has worked in shelter medicine and private practice and now does relief work with IndeVets and writes in her “spare time.” She has strong interests in public health, preventive medicine and the human-animal bond. She is passionate about supporting veterinary professionals who are or will be parents. She is both fear-free and human-animal bond certified, and she also speaks Spanish. When she’s not working or chasing after her 4 kids, 3 pets, and 1 husband, she enjoys horseback riding, sewing, running, collecting all things llama and alpaca, and eating chocolate.
