82: Stu’s Grand Return, Gold Coast Ghetto Living, a Demented Orangutan, & Snowballgate

On this 82nd episode of David & Stu Unhinged, we cover the following topics:1. Stu has returned from his time in Florida and recounts his time away and his harrowing return to New York due to incompetently run airlines and a poorly administered air transportation system which makes air travel in America a nightmare.2. While Stu was away, David recounts how he has waged a transparency campaign in the dysfunctional building he has lived in way too long. He decided to broadly disclose the legal complaint and financials associated with his coop Board’s decision to spend double the budget installing an outdoor generator in the basement, which has ensnared the building in a never-ending lawsuit. Needless to say, his efforts weren’t greeted with kindness by Board members.3. In Washington Square Park, there was a snowball fight where police officers were pelted with snowballs, and some of them were injured. In response to this attack on the NYPD, Mayor Mamdani waffled about prosecuting aggressive snowballers. This incident raises the question of whether NYPD Commissioner Tisch and Mamdani can continue to play together in the same sandbox.4. Trump’s recent State of the Union address lasted 148 minutes and was filled with lies and undignified behavior, magnifying how far America has fallen from when President Lincoln gave the Gettysburg address in two minutes, which provided moral clarity about the justification for the Civil War. On the other hand, Trump’s self-indulgence and delusional speech highlight how he is almost, if not more, demented than his predecessor, Joe Biden. We hope you tune in, and please leave comments.
