Dear Parents, We’re going to have a great upcoming week. Below is a short description of what’s coming up and important links and/or announcements: Watch these announcements on video here. Mr. Gray’s Class Podcast Friday, March 26 is a minimum day. Virtual Book Fair March 15-28 Read-a-Thon is March 22-29- Register Here! Spring Break is March 29- April 2 Make Up Picture Day is April 7 Reader’s Workshop The kids will review motifs, themes, and symbolism and we will have a quiz. They will also make a one-pager about motifs, themes, or symbolism in the books they are reading. Writer’s Workshop The kids will finish our journalism unit by making their own, personal digital newspaper. The kids will work with drawings, documents, and a website to put all their articles together. Their newspaper and articles will be published and available for you to see! Math Math Answers and Help Here What happened to math class? We will work on the first half of our Area and Surface Area (Geometry Unit). We will work on finding the area of parallelograms and triangles and take a homework quiz on Thursday. History We will start studying our next Ancient Civilization: Greece.The kids will have a check of their work on Monday and then read articles about Ancient Greece. Science The kids will work with Miss Stevens in science lab. Thank you, Mr. Gray
