In large-animal sheep models, this advanced H-MACsT therapy achieved remarkable results, including near-total cartilage regeneration and a successful reversal of disease progression within six months. The study demonstrates that hydrogen’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are vital for maintaining the survival of stem cell-derived grafts in pathological conditions.
