#83 From cursed to blessed with Johnny BANG Reilly

from The Unconventionalists with Mark Leruste · host Mark Leruste

When it comes down to reinventing yourself and overcoming adversity, few men come close to today's guest, Johnny B.A.N.G. Reilly. But after a rough start to life and spending years abusing his mind and body, Johnny purified his diet and mineralised his brain. The result? A man in his prime at 53 years of age who chose to pursue love over destruction. You could say that Johnny is part of a special club: “the go forward type” and he's been many things over the last decade: a survivor, dancer, fighter, choreographer, word collector, movie maker, fashion designer, voice-over artist...and the list goes on. But the most important of all, he's a liver. In this week's episode Johnny and I caught up in Camden to talk about the importance of movement and why what you eat can truly change your destiny. It certainly did for Johnny, who's new found obsession for health has redefined the course of his life. And prevented him from murdering a man and spending the rest of his life in prison. "Violent people are poets in motion." Johnny B.A.N.G. Reilly I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did, and if you did, share it with a friend. It really makes a difference.
