Released in 2012 (10 years after the first movie) this film continues the crazy adventures of the ever growing ensemble cast as they go on a wacky adventure that is loosely based on plate tectonics. When Scrat (that way too famous squirrel dude) goes to the centre of the earth to retrieve a yummy acorn, he accidentally sets in motion the continental drift mentioned in the title.
