#83 –Jacob Robbins - A Conversation about Confidence

Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast Episode 83! My friend Jacob has seen a lot for his relatively young age. He's a kid from, arguably, a different side of the tracks than many of us, and someone who, in his youth, never really understood how to be confident in himself. All of that has changed. :) Jacob was born in Tallahassee, FL, and lived in southern Georgia until he was 13. When he moved to Utah, he found a sense of hope, realizing just how big the world actually is! Like myself, Jacob also lives with ADHD and understands how the fear of being rejected for having ADHD can make it difficult to make friends. He would find himself sitting alone at lunch every day by choice, even when there were people who wanted him to sit with them. The time came when he had to decide if he was going to keep letting fear rule his life or rise above that fear. He chose to be confident in high school, and that has made all the difference.
