83: Star Tours, Hotel New York en tips voor een trip naar Anaheim

In deze aflevering van D-Tales nemen Ralf en Jorn je weer mee op een letterlijk rondje langs de Disneyparken wereldwijd. Michiel is er deze week niet bij; die is lekker aan het genieten van alles wat Los Angeles te bieden heeft en loopt - we zijn NIET jaloers - de komende dagen in Disneyland, Anaheim.In ons rondje komen we onder andere langs Parijs, waar de data aangekondigd zijn van de grootscheepse opknapbeurt voor Disney’s Hotel New York. Ook is men druk bezig met de projectieshow voor kerst op de façade van de Tower of Terror in de Walt Disney Studios en kunnen we met onze recent geüpdatete Star Tours eindelijk ook meegenieten met de synergie nu Star Wars: The Last Jedi uitkomt - binnenkort een spiksplinternieuwe scene in de attractie gebaseerd op Episode VIII!In Florida is vooral veel nieuws over alle bouwwerkzaamheden die daar gaande zijn. Naast Toy Story Land en Star Wars - Galaxy’s Edge is men ook druk bezig met de sloop van Disney Quest in Disney Springs. In 2019 opent hier de NBA Experience. Verder heeft men deze week aangekondigd een nieuw hotel - of een nieuwe uitbreiding - te bouwen bij de Swann en Dolphin hotels. Lekker dicht bij Disney’s Hollywood Studios!Voor Anaheim vooral wat nieuws over een alternatief plan voor het geschrapte Eastern Gateway project - het parkeerprobleem móét aangepakt worden voor de opening van Star Wars - Galaxy’s Edge. En waarom loopt het onderhoud van Splash Mountain zo achter? Ook vroeg luisteraar Maaike om flink wat tips voor een eerste trip richting Anaheim - wij proberen met onze deskundige kennis al wat goede tips te geven, maar we zijn ook nog steeds benieuwd naar die van jullie.
