84. Communication is a Gift We Give Our Child

Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany reminds her listeners of the meaning behind the kitchen table. It’s an invitation to friendship, where you can listen, grow, and strengthen one another through God’s word.    How do we communicate with our children in a culture that struggles to communicate? Bethany dives deeper into answering this question as she unpacks a new series. As mothers, we must teach our children to properly communicate despite their emotions, especially in times of anger, hurt, distress, and helplessness.    Communication is a crucial component of kingdom living, and Bethany helps listeners understand and develop the framework to communicate with their children the way God speaks with us. She helps hold parents to a higher standard and become positive example settlers by mimicking God’s way of communicating.    Bethany discusses the importance of using questions, conversations, and word pictures during difficult conversations to help our children develop the ability to speak the way Jesus would.
