What happened? Was it where it was like a year and a half ago? Yeah, so and I thought that that game was gonna be kind of one I'm thinking turns out is they're making a sequel for it for the next gen next box gonna be DC So they're straddling for another. All right.

No, if this is one of your thing that I should pay attention to I might as well play I was really looking that forward to it. I think some steps of gameplay didn't work all that interesting to me And I jumped into it. I think two nights ago a really mind played and he said the other way with headphones So I did and it's wild. How much I like the same.

I thought I genuinely didn't expect to like as much as I do It does feel kind of indie it looks triple A and it's just really cool. I don't know It's like it's like a It's like a friend. Yeah, yeah It's pretty interesting. Yeah, there's like a these really cool binaural audio effects going on with like whispering around around your head And like kind of like talking you and also helping you at the same time.

It's really cool like if somebody's singing up behind you You'll hear like faint whisper like a party and it'll like rush back to real quick and react according to me three times It's really it's really true. It was way more engaging. I thought many persons are meant to be this game It's just again. I've never gotten to yeah, and I would really like to it just I don't know just to make other things to play I don't really really really really know every play but I'm glad what I was has is yeah Happy that you're still working your way through the Witcher three yeah, I am it kind of got sour for me because I'm like I started playing it my room.

It was like oh, I'll play that too and he has like nothing to do so he's like wait ahead of me and Like every time I walk in I see like story should happening. It's like I know It's not it's spoiled for me really but I feel like no so much what's going to happen that just a lot less interesting getting to that point Yeah If you care that you know, I know you know, I don't know what you would yeah, yeah I'm still going to be like slowly, but I think I'm trying to do we were doing I think it was a good plus about our backlogs and one of the listeners I can't remember who was suggested that their way of going through their backlogs was one indie one for play one classic So that's right. Yeah, and that's kind of the thing that I've adopted here I'm trying to do the Witcher three to play help late as the indie and trying to sign the classic I'm trying to decide between San Andreas because I've never played to completion I think Real soon again. I might just play that that would be I think those are two very good choices But I think that finally something's a lot less I really end of the mind.

I know we have younger gamers listening and people around me You were really not quite thinking about but yeah, I really don't think you should play everything not how we play their job I just do not understand why you do that because you then get all this interesting context for the changes that are made Especially people who feel like fresh office. So it will be in your mind and Yeah, I hope that I really don't play it without a particular level everywhere There's a sheep and they have all these little perks that you basically cheat if you want You want to play games straight up. So you just want to rush for it. I really like something to put in there So but those are good options.

I'm not playing San Andreas in college. So that's been a one I'm going to say it's in college either gta three. I did start playing again up. Yes, for like two years ago I honestly like this is really pretty.

Yeah, like by my mind Three I'm like it's fun to drive around with the on foot controls like a gun There's a scene where you're like going to like a shipping ship like a container ship and you're like tonight people from a foreign It's just like totally on play. I'm not saying it's like man. It's hard. You know like we just we just play game The different like one thing I like GTA three is that Gats on the X button in your car, which is like so old school And I think that was with GTA four that they started playing on the triggers and had a kind of going to setting It's like I like there.

You know how I draw your cars for I like whatever. Yeah Yeah, I don't know the first one that I really really played and I played a little bit Sendra's and I couldn't say kid and I was like see I'm like cheat the japan and like I'm like so cool And I really only got on a bike and then kick the guy out of car before I had to leave and I was like that was the only I really got sent it's cool They're right to college because I'm just I'm just riding on this show for like 2005 I took like mostly pretty stand-away from games. They're only a few games in that era. I really played from like late summertime for through like late summertime One of them and Resident Evil four was another one that I actually came out of higher before as well I had like my girlfriend.

I was trying to like be cool and party and then I realized I got sorry. Yeah, okay I'm still poor. I'm still playing drag quest 11. I'm now 40 hours and whatever now I have to tell you because you're gonna love this So I want to spoil over the game.

It's like 40 hours And so if you don't want any drag quest a lot of spoilers and it's really hard to spoil drag Which is really much of story of me in games But if you don't want to drag a lot of spoilers just tune out for a minute or two Because I got close about something that you don't love so I got like halfway through the game Yeah, I tell you just by the trophies and I think there are 28 story of 16 of them So halfway through the game the world basically ends So it's kind of like 26 and that way which kind of cool It's just like the world the world three in games also when I think like Norse mythology like fall from the sky and the skies are like overtaken with this black Miss then you you in drag quest fashion you actually need the villain for the first time like 40 hours Yeah, so there's this kingdom called Nodka that underwater that you go to earlier in the game It's full of mermaids and you like go down there and you would do a quest Whatever so you fall in the ocean and Nodka the people not to take care of you and they turn you into like a fish So for like an hour or so in the game you play as a fish like an actual fish swimming through the water And I was just about to scream into my pillow when I was playing this part So annoying and so funny at the same time, but that is better So you get out of the water you the mermaid queen or turn you back in with you and then you have to go and like your party members are Strew to wow this is really like final basics which is a much better game This way and so you go to this town which is your hometown and You are playing whatever and you meet like a party member and then you go and do some quests and then you realize that you're basically And so I'm going to every place you've already been and you have to just play the game again That's easy what's happening. So like there's a guy there's a spell in drag Quasal zoom and you use it Go to like a quick battle system and there's a guy in the town that literally says you like everyone Let's see you zoom. It's the world has ended or whatever you have to go to all the location again and add them to your zoom So you can't use it anymore. So you go to places like on foot and then the first quest you get is to go to place Or the game to game tell you door and then the second quest you guys is to go to the second place You went to it just like this mountain town and I'm like holy shit You're really gonna be playing gaming.

I like this is this is what's happening. I come so far I'm so much in the pocket now. Yeah, this game. I can't go back, but this is what's happening in the game You turn to a fish and it makes you play the game again It's a great way to end your first playthrough just oh you failed You are now relegated to the life of a fish.

I just I don't like when games force that shit whenever a game will like take away All of your cool shit and then just make you make you an early get back or just like take away faster For some reason or just I make you back back to the entire the entirety of the game That was my main complaint towards the end of death's random that's really what really because I mean It's the same play, but the fact you have to go through everything again in reverse. He's insane. Yeah, it's at least You know that's not gonna take you four hours though Which is the reason to take me I just can't like I really find the same very charming By the card is very charming the storage only any lists you know the hero of the world saving the world kind of shit And again, the more I thought about the one like they just totally ate five and six or a lot of ways But it for me I just like this game could be over right now and I'd be totally satisfied Why is this still going on? Well why is this game still going up?

I'll report probably for the next several weeks because I know I can't play much more than a few hours They have to do other stuff so oh my god. I don't know. Do you take advantage of the auto play feature during battles? Or do you manually select all the battle commands for you? I should feel pretty invested like I put an hour in your game And I'm not having fun then probably I just don't I don't see a reason to continue that is a maximum I put down games I put down games in 15 minutes because they were just so obviously not my game But it depends on what kind of game it is It's like RPG a little bit longer to shoot a little bit less Because shooters are just it should be fun from the get go I think and RPG like me sometimes out the world and like what I get that so I would say with longer more now to have games like an RPG an hour And with anything else anything like more action based again by Spider-Man I would give like 15 minutes and honestly I'm pretty quickly doing something pretty immediately. So yeah, I think there are a lot of variables in equation like this because it is as more said it's genre And well that's you know for a lot of people we're a little probably better off than the average gamer Maybe we have more than what I think comes up access three games So I feel like also a bit more in part equation That must admit is like how much money to do something?

How much money is that to you? You know like you want to attract as much value because this is one game You're five to the next two months or are you a lot of people in coming? Just kind of party games you're getting really carried by the side I think those are kind of interesting variables and then to your point the genre variables interesting to you It's like a shooter. I will shoot it just for a second It's not grab me in the first 10 minutes or so It's not grab because the game's probably not gonna have to change.

I tried to find out my time is the switch is pretty much a smash button And any anything that I play on the switch is going to be a very very very very indie game Something like you scheme or like under tail or you know if I'm not playing like maybe like a portable version of a game The PC is the platform that I go to mess with things Like if I want to be able to and mod it to shit I'll go on PC that will never be the main way that my players need to go to probably a classification depending on which one has the better You know specs for it traditionally from all the platforms to be like someone has to go to and PlayStation is really just exclusive machine for me.

I will play all the exclusives I play destiny on it. So I think the second you get that level of distance from like two numbers ahead or two consoles ahead, that's what it's comfortable to be like, okay, that is a retro machine. And he says it's a comfortable calling it just because it's the HD generation. I don't know if that's a reason. You know, it's like, the Ford was a 3D generation, and every game is 3D now.

So yeah, we're just based with these ones. Yeah, I had a problem with retro console normally because it just makes it feel real old. Remember when games stop in there, you know, they're not other dying, but they're trying to sell retro games. I remember them advertising, so we have N64 games and PS3 games and PS3 games.

Like I was in college when the game came up. You know, is it really like, are we already in the retro era? I guess so. I mean, we just had to be retro.

Yeah, I mean, I'm not saying. I mean, I was in college when the weekend I was in your college. So yeah, I don't know. I don't know if it's a specific industry except the definition of retro, and I think it's a very different than the PS1 and PS2.

But they're all retro console. So I don't think it really matters. And the beauty of these new generations are everything's a whole thing to one actually. So we're not really doing that this stuff.

That's what you are collectively doing. So you do exactly. Generally, the nature is like, in my opinion, it's like two generations old, it's not that it's just the oldest ones. You know what I mean?

It's not necessarily about the age-range VIP. I think it's more about doing really much like PlayStation 10 or theme park. I would love a video game-centric theme park here. Like everything.

Like that would be awesome. Like having a, here's an uncharted pan of roller coaster. Here's a, you know, you can walk around in a high roll kind of like a way to do this all the shit. Or like here's a, you can go to a light run and skyrim and this whole thing there.
