I’m back with another new episode! This week I chatted with Phoenix Lawson (they/them) - who is a college readiness coach based in San Francisco. In this episode, they discuss making the move from Student Affairs to working in a high school readiness system. We also discuss the difficult job search process in student affairs and mental health coping during the pandemic. Phoenix is also a pop punk aficionado - essentially being raised on Blink 182 and Green Day, and more recently The Wonder Years. We dig into music, the NBA (finally), and the Black Lives Matter movement as well.
