84 - SWEET REPOSE

Phil, Sam and Anya are joined by comedian Joe Machi & singer / songwriter Louise Goffin for a very special (and sometimes bleak!) holiday episode. Topics: Joe's parakeets, Anya's dog Radio, the Santa Claus myth, a hamster trafficking business, Sam’s trip to Bermuda, and listener emails (a painful tale of a hookup hooking up with a mutual friend, Catholic guilt, and tense holiday stories). Louise plays an original song and one by her mom and dad (Carole King & Gerry Goffin) and shares stories about Beautiful, getting signed to Dreamworks, having famous parents, having children, following your passion and her latest album, Apple on Fire, as well as her Carole King covers project.
