As David and Mary Margaret double down on keeping their secret buried and the Queens of Darkness continue to be exactly as subtle as you’d expect, the episode quickly becomes less about mystery and more about who’s willing to actually be honest. And somehow, in a town full of heroes, Emma ends up being the most grounded, self-aware, and emotionally mature person in the room.
