Sir Don Black is a lyricist and inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame who has written songs with some of the most celebrated composers in history: Andrew Lloyd Webber, Quincy Jones, John Barry, Michel Legrand, Henry Mancini, Michael Jackson, Marvin Hamlisch, and Charles Strouse, just to name a few. In addition to being a lyricist, Black has worked as a stand-up comedian, song plugger, radio personality and personal manager to the late Matt Monro.
