The Indigenous Conservation curriculums, for elementary and high school students, are beautiful and insightful learning resource produced by the United Nations Association in Canada (UNAC). They were launched in June 2022 to coincide with Indigenous History Month and World Environment Day. In this episode, the CEO of the United Nations Association in Canada discusses these fantastic resources, how it teaches about Indigenous cultures and ways to protect the natural world. We also talk about how they can be used in schools, at home and in other informal learning settings. Jaime Webbe is the President and CEO of the United Nations Association in Canada. This curriculum combines her knowledge and background in Indigenous education and sustainability. She spent almost two decades shepherding new sustainability concepts, approaches and technologies through the transition from scientific facts to internationally recognized best practice.
