#854 : Titan : des lacs de méthane complexes

Durant son dernier survol rapproché de Titan le 22 avril 2017, la sonde Cassini a été utilisée pour sonder plusieurs lacs de son hémisphère nord avec son radar. Les résultats obtenus sont étonnants : ces lacs sont remplis de méthane liquide et sont très profonds (plus de 100 m), ils sont en outre très différents du principal lac observé dans l'hémisphère sud du satellite saturnien.
