from Happy Hormones Podcast · host Nicki Williams

After a long and successful entrepreneurial career in the field of diversity and talent management. Heather had big ideas for her 50’s. Along with her friend Sam, they were ready to do a 'Thelma and Louise' and have new adventures (minus the final driving off the cliff!).But menopause had other ideas. They were both hit like a brick wall. And neither of them had any idea what was happening. After many trips to the doctor and much searching on the internet they finally realised they were going through peri menopause.Disappointment turned into frustration, which turned into anger. Had they reached an age where they’d become invisible? Sam and Heather had never settled for less before, so why should they start now? Out of their personal experience came the desire and drive to change things forever. Putting their corporate knowledge and entrepreneurial flair to good use, they’d fill the void they’d found.Gen-M - short for Generation Menopause was born.
