862. Weekly Lite Pink Updates: Managing Our Expectations In A Business Of Uncertainty

from Earn Your Happy · host Lori Harder | YAP Media

Because this is my first time launching something in the product-based space, managing my expectations hasn’t been the easiest. Between timelines getting thrown out the window, working with multiple teams, and creating all kinds of contracts, Lauren and I have learned how to get super clear about what we can offer and what we need. Through this whole process, we’ve lived by the mantra that everything happens to us for a reason, and it’s helped shine some light on really difficult times. Today, we’re talking all about setting boundaries, silver linings of obstacles and hard conversation, and why it’s so important to be a vulnerable leader.    IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: Navigating collaboration with new teams  Being open and upfront about you capabilities and expectations  How to be considerate, yet forward when you need answers  How specific deadlines have added structure to our workflow  Valuing when people go above and beyond for you  Why it’s a blessing in disguise that we didn’t launch when we planned to last fall  Building momentum before a launch  How Lauren supports me in my role as a public-facing CEO   RESOURCES Sign up for The Spritz newsletter at litepink.com!
