Ford on AI Use: “Bone Keeper was a huge passion project and a labour of love, with the team hugely committed to making the film just as films have always been made, with real actors in real locations instead of a green-screen studio, the creatures were designed by human hand and mind (VFX artist Giordano Aita) and they also used traditional VFX. There was however, some movement of the creatures which were done in/with AI. There are no ‘full AI sequences’ in Bone Keeper at all, just the new technology used to create movement of the designed creatures that would otherwise have cost over six figures to do, which was beyond the budget.
