#87 - Harry Hill

In this episode, our host has a lively chat with the brilliant comedian Harry Hill. They reminisce about their hilarious antics on 'Tea with Harry', a unique Sky show that blends cooking and comedy. They discuss how the pandemic affected them personally and professionally, sharing insights into the challenges of performing without an audience and adapting to virtual gigs. Listen in as they share anecdotes about drive-in comedy events where laughter was replaced by honking! The conversation takes a personal turn as they talk about spending quality time at home with family during the lockdowns and coping mechanisms like writing autobiographies. Surprisingly enough, we learn that Harry trained as a doctor before his comedic career took off! He shares an unexpected call he received during the pandemic to return to medicine after 30 years which led him down memory lane. This episode is packed full of laughs, nostalgia, surprising revelations and heartfelt discussions on life amidst a global crisis.
