Rodrigo was influenced by The Empire Strikes Back and Evil Dead. He worked as a make-up effects artist in the 90s until he started with his own horror play, Mausoleum, and then started directing short films, then premiered his first feature film, Mud Zombies, in 2008. He just became one of our favorite gory movie directors, thanks to this gem.
