88. A Conversation Between Friends About the Power of Food and Chocolate 🍫.

from HYDRATE with Tracy Duhs · host Tracy Duhs

Meet Jonathan Pantalis. Who is Jonathan? You may not know his name but you may know of his chocolates 🍫. He started a little company called Phi Kind chocolate, now known as Living Ratio. I’ve learned a LOT about chocolate from the time I’ve spent with Jonathan. Like anything, sourcing + processing play a BIG role in our experience with chocolate. Everything from how it tastes to how we feel and even how it digests in our system will depend on the variety and processing. Jonathan prides himself in his sourcing and processing magic ✨. It’s evident in the way his chocolates taste and how I feel after eating them. In this show we talk about how Jonathan started his chocolate company. As a young teen he wanted to fit in, so he started making comfort food for friends and family as a way to connect and be liked. Eventually, Jonathan’s love for the power of food and it’s ability to connect people led him to learn about healthy alternatives to mainstream junk food. This was the beginning of Living Ratio chocolate. Learn more about Jonathan and his company at: LivingRatio.com Try my FAVORITE hot chocolate adaptogen elixir that Jonathan formulated called Cacao Calm. Some of that formulating happened in my very own kitchen. 😋 Yummy! Use code HYDRATE for a special discount. https://livingratio.com/pages/cacao-calm-launch?sca_ref=1646484.BPHHUhUWJe enjoy the show.
