Nathaniel Gillis is a religious demonologist and author. After living in a haunted house, He spent 20 years researching what it was he encountered. He is the founder of Preternatural Epiphenomenal Philosophy and he has sought to redefine the nature of haunting phenomena, ghosts and high strangeness. Nathaniel poses the question if the abduction phenomenon is in fact a part of the OBE and NDE family…then we need to re-examine many of the ancient funerary texts. He outlines how the Atrahasis epic states... “The soul of a man is made from the flesh of a god.” This speaks to consciousness being more than mere thought or memory…this speaks of consciousness actually possessing texture of some sort.
