In this week's episode I sit down with Samantha Piper. Samantha Piper is a performer who most recently was a swing/understudy in the Toronto production of Kinky Boots. In our conversation today we discuss how she was introduced to the theatre, the importance of knowing what you want and always taking steps towards it, as well as what she learned from some of her first experiences in the industry. We also discuss the advice she would give any performers about to swing or understudy in a show, the need for theatre to remain accessible to audiences outside of the theatre community, as well as where she sees theatre headed in the future.
