Dr. Steve Hurst was born and raised in San Diego. He graduated from UCLA School of dentistry in 1993 and married his classmate Dr. Bridget Hurst in 1995. He spent two years with the Public Health Service and four years in a Loan Repayment Program in Central California. In 2000 Steve and Bridget returned home to San Diego with three kids in tow and currently practices general dentistry with a strong emphasis in Implant dentistry. Dr. Hurst is a Fellow of the California Implant Institue (CII) and was instrumental in starting CII's Live Surgical Implant Program in 2012. The program provides 50 U.S. patients a month with no cost extractions, bone grafting and Nobel Biocare implants. Dr. Hurst is responsible for patient screening, initial CBCT diagnosis, surgical instruction, post-op follow up and final restorations, which include Crown and Bridge, locator over dentures and Full Mouth Fixed restorations.
