89 // Cast and Characters (You've Never Seen a Miracle: The Journey to 2049 Part Nine)

At the core of Blade Runner 2049—and at the core of its predecessor—are great characters. Strip away the unforgettable aesthetics, the world-building, even the music, and 2049 still feels, at its heart, like a Blade Runner film. From Sapper Morton, gentle war machine, to Mariette, a replicant with a big secret, the characters of this film live on long after the credits roll. // iTunes: bit.ly/shoulderoforionitunes // Google Play: bit.ly/shoulderoforiongoogleplay // For more on this and our other projects, please visit www.bladerunnerpodcast.com  // If you'd like to join the conversation, find us on our closed Facebook group: Fields of Calantha. // To support the show, please consider visiting www.bladerunnerpodcast.com/support.
