89 – From Abuse & Rejection to Hope: The Story of a Foster & Adoptive Mom with Trish Zenczak

It was important to me as a foster mom for my kids, if at all possible, and if it wasn’t dangerous to them to sacrifice my wants, needs, and desires to be able to let them know their story. Hi Neighbor, Today it is my privilege to share with you the story of my friend and neighbor, Trish Zinczak. Trish is a foster child, foster mom, and adoptive mom.  Trish has the unique perspective to talk about fostering and adoption from both the child’s and parent’s perspectives. She has lived it and she understands it.  This is a real and raw conversation from a very brave woman. Trish was willing to be vulnerable because she understands the importance of knowing and making sense of the stories of adopted and foster kids.  Trish's story is compelling.  Hope and healing are on the way.
